Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy outlines how PulsarSense collects, safeguards, and handles your personal and industrial information across our mobile applications, web dashboards, IoT gateways, and connected hardware services.
1. Information We Collect
Account & Profile Information: When you create or configure an account, we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, company/organization name, and tenant memberships.
Device Telemetry & Industrial Data: Our cloud systems process readings from your connected IoT hardware (such as Pulsar Sense Guard, Solar Base, Solar Pro, and OPC UA/Modbus gateways). This includes live voltage, current, power yield (kW/kWh), inverter operating states, relay statuses, signal strength (RSSI), temperature, and system alerts.
Application & Usage Logs: We collect technical diagnostic logs, browser types, mobile OS versions, IP addresses, and interaction timestamps required to secure your account, prevent fraud, and maintain operational stability.
2. Mobile Device & Hardware Permissions
Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) & Nearby Devices: Used strictly during device provisioning to discover and pair compatible hardware controllers (e.g., Pulsar Sense Guard). We do not use Bluetooth for ad tracking or background proximity profiling.
Wi-Fi & Network Configuration: Used to transfer 2.4 GHz network credentials directly to your local hardware controller so it can connect to your local router.
Camera & QR Scanner: Accessed only when you explicitly choose to scan a physical device setup QR code or hardware activation sticker.
Location & Site Positioning: PulsarSense does NOT perform continuous, live, or background tracking of users. During device onboarding, a static facility/site coordinate may be captured one-time solely to anchor the hardware installation location on your industrial dashboard. Android OS also requires Location permissions exclusively for scanning nearby Bluetooth LE and local Wi-Fi networks during device setup.
3. How We Use Information
Service Delivery & Automation: To authenticate your session, display live telemetry dashboards, trigger user-configured relay rules, and execute scheduled automated timers.
Alerts & Notifications: To notify you via push notifications, email, or SMS regarding critical device faults, grid anomalies, or unexpected hardware disconnects.
Platform Security & Diagnostics: To detect abnormal access patterns, isolate multi-tenant data silos, and resolve firmware communication issues.
Zero Data Selling: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or industrial telemetry data to third parties or advertising networks.
5. Data Retention & Account Deletion
Retention Period: Telemetry and audit logs are retained in accordance with your organization's subscription tier and regulatory requirements.
Account & Data Deletion: You retain full ownership of your data. You may request account and telemetry deletion at any time via the in-app Settings or through our dedicated public account deletion portal at /account-deletion.
Verified Deletion Process: Upon receipt of a verified deletion request, all personal identifiers and associated database records are permanently purged or anonymized within 30 days, except where retention is mandated by law.
6. Your Rights & Choices
Access & Portability: You may request an export of your stored account information and recorded telemetry at any time.
Correction: You can update your profile, contact details, and hardware configuration directly in the web and mobile settings.
Permission Revocation: You can grant or revoke camera, Bluetooth, and notification permissions at any time through your mobile device system settings.
7. Children's Privacy
PulsarSense is an enterprise and residential smart IoT telemetry platform designed exclusively for commercial, agricultural, and adult home managers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 13.
Our privacy compliance team is available to assist you with data requests and inquiries.
